"WORKSHOP ON “CURRENT CONCEPTS IN MEDICAL RESEARCH, BIOSTATISTICS AND EPIDEMIOLOGY”

A five-day Workshop on “Current Concepts in Medical Research, Biostatistics and Epidemiology” was organized by the Department of Community Health Sciences, Hamdard College of Medicine & Dentistry, at HIMS City Campus, from 25th February to 29th February 2008. These workshops are usually held by the College twice a year.

The purpose of this program to train the participants to conduct research and produce papers for publishing in the renowned national and international medical journals.

12 candidates registered for this workshop. Seven belonged to Hamdard College of Medicine & Dentistry, one from University of Karachi, one from Karachi Institute of Radiotherapy and Nuclear Medicine (KIRAN), one from Sindh Medical College and two from CMH.

The participants greatly appreciated the conducting of this workshop and said that they have learnt a great deal from it.

Certificates were awarded to the participants by Professor Dr. Muhammad Sarwar, Dean, Faculty of Health & Medical Sciences of Hamdard University.
