Admission to the MBBS and BDS degree programs are on all Pakistan basis. No domicile or permanent residence certificate (PRC) is requird .
Those who have passed Intermediate science (pre-medical) examination with at least 60% marks in aggregate (unadjusted) from a board of intermediate or higher secondary education of Pakistan in or before the year 2013 or those who have passed a higher examination of a Pakistani University with biological sciences, provided that the candidates have passed the intermediate science (premedical) with at least 60% marks or those who have passed any other examination of foreign university, examination body which in scope and standard is found equivalent to intermediate science (pre-medical) recognized by Hamdard university.
For the purpose of determining merit, the scores of entrance test, academic record (Matric/F.Sc./HSc) and interview will be considered and each will receive the following weightage.
Admission will be made on merit. Nobody will be denied on the basis of cast, colour or creed. There are a few seats for foreign students and for those admitted under self-finance scheme. In addition to the certificate from a registered Dar-ul-uloom, Hifz-e-Quran will also be required to pass the test of Hifz-e-Quran.
Students eligible for admission to MBBS or BDS course at Hamdard College of Medicine and Dentistry are required to take an admission test conducted by NTS.
Candidates who are admitted should possess sound mental and physical health to be able to persue medicine/dentistry as a profession.
They are required to submit a medical fitness certificate but may be subjected to re-examination by the college authority, if deemed necessary.
As per instructions of Government and Pakistan Medical and Dental Council, NTS test is necessary for eligibility for admission in a medical/dental College.
