HEC-Japanese Need Based Scholarship Program for Pakistani University Students

HEC-Japanese Need Based Scholarship Program for Pakistani University Students aims at providing equal opportunities to talented students who are unable to get higher education due to financial constraints.

Scholarship is based on assessment of need and merit as well as availability of funds. Selection will be decided on the basis of information provided in the application form and investigations for the authentications of provided information. Candidates may be required to appear for interview(s).

HEC has granted eight Japanese, Need Based Scholarship to Hamdard University. All these eight scholarships (3 for Under Graduates and 5 for Graduates) are offered to students who are pursuing education related to Information Technology.

The main objective of the program is to develop and retain a talented, diversified and vibrant body of students, capable of contributing towards the attainment of the University’s mission and goals.

In order to support the governmental efforts for developing certain disciplines, priority is given under the program to the students, studying in the programs of education, management, law, medicine and information- software technologies. However, all the students, who demonstrate academic, sporting or community/cultural excellence, or who are under privileged, may be eligible for the university’s scholarship award and financial assistance.
