Doctor of Pharmacy is a life saving profession and Pharmacists are the custodians of the drugs, as this profession has attained its highest recognition nationally and internationally and world at large recognizes the importance of the Doctors in Pharmacy, now Pharmacists are the integral part of the Health care team and their role in the different disciplines as, Hospital Pharmacists, Clinical Pharmacist, Regulators, in the Industries,Acadmeia and importantly as educators for other health care provider, experts in evaluation the prescriptions and recommends suggestions to health provider for the safe and good use of medicines which gives ultimate benefits to the patients.
Faculty of Pharmacy, HamdardUniversity, Karachi was established in 1997, Doctor of Pharmacy program was introduced in 2005, providing high level facilities, and cooping up with the criteria, faculty of Pharmacy has been accredited/affiliated by the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan, and Higher Education Commission. As largest Faculty in the private sector, providing state of the art facilities in terms of purposely build structure laboratories/class rooms, hospital training facilities for its students under highly skilled, qalefied and experience teaching staff having expertise of seniors of Ph.D Professors. Faculty of Pharmacy, HamdardUniversity, Karachi, trained young Doctors of Pharmacy with specialized subjects like, Anatomy/Pathology / Physiology / Pharmacology/Bio-chemistry / Industrial Pharmacy / Clinical and Hospital Pharmacy and many other interesting subjects.
