  • SSC Mark Sheet
  • HSC-Part l Mark Sheet
  • HSC-Part II Mark Sheet (if completed)
  • HSC-Part II Admit card (result Awaited)
  • ‘O’-level/’A’-level equivalence Certificate from IBCC
  • CNIC or Form ‘B’
  • Paid Fee voucher of Application Processing Fee

Applicants with a diploma may apply if they have obtained a minimum 60%. Applicants with this diploma are also required to submit a necessary equivalence certificate issued by the IBCC, Pakistan.

Yes, those applicants who are waiting for result are encouraged to apply for this they are required to submit an undertaking along with the admission application. Please note that result awaited students must meet the eligibility criteria in the same semester and should submit the documents as their result declare.

University will cancel the admission.

Yes, an interview is a last part of our admissions process. After the Entrance Examination, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted and informed of the date, time and location of their interview.

Hamdard University Funded Financial Assistances are available for all programs. The Financial Assistance is awarded to student under any one the following categories at a time:

All undergraduate programs are four-year programs.

Admission process starts in Augast for fall semester and in January for spring semester every year. Exact dates can be checked from website and advertisements in national news papers.

B- Mechanical Engineering Department

Mechanical engineering is the most popular and wide-ranging engineering discipline. It specifically deals with the design, development and improvement of the mechanical components and systems that make our world and lives function – everything from major infrastructure projects, to high-speed trains and artificial hearts.

They work in industries, they apply analytical and technical expertise to solve problems, develop new products and technologies, and improve processes.

C- Electrical Engineering Department

Electrical engineers are concerned mainly with the large-scale production and distribution of electrical power, while electronics engineers focus on much smaller electronic circuits.

Electrical engineers design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing of electrical equipment, such as electric motors, radar and navigation systems, communications systems, or power generation equipment. Electrical engineers also design the electrical systems of automobiles and aircraft.

Electrical engineering is a professional engineering discipline that generally deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism.

D- Electronics Engineering Department

Electrical engineers are concerned mainly with the large-scale production and distribution of electrical power, while electronics engineers focus on much smaller electronic circuits.

Electronics engineers can work as Production Managers and can manage design engineers, purchase division and others involved in the production process. Electronics Engineers also design and develop control systems

E- Biomedical Engineering Department

Biomedical engineering (BME) is the application of engineering principles and methods to solve medical and biological problems. It integrates electrical, mechanical, chemical and life science principles in the development of new healthcare technologies and systems, as well as in providing a better understanding of the mechanisms of human life.

Biomedical engineers are employed in universities, hospitals, research facilities, in academia,in government agencies and in industry as design engineers, development engineers, process and manufacturing engineers, and as product managers.Their education and experience allow them to bridge the engineering and medical fields.

F- Computer system Engineering, Computer Science and Software Engineering Department

Computer System Engineering (CE) deals with designing, developing, and operating computer systems. At its core, Computer Engineering concentrates on digital hardware devices and computers, and the software that controls them. Advanced courses focus on standard designs and techniques for specific application domains. In contrast to CS and SE, Computer Engineering emphasizes solving problems in digital hardware and at the hardware-software interface.

Computer Science (CS) focuses on understanding, designing, and developing programs and computers. At its core, Computer Science concentrates on data, data transformation, and algorithms. Advanced courses present specialized programming techniques and specific application domains. The CS program is less structured than the CE and SE programs, giving students more flexibility to build depth or breadth in a variety of application domains or in the fundamentals of Computer Science.

Software Engineering (SE) deals with building and maintaining software systems. It is more software-oriented and has a greater emphasis on large software applications than Computer Engineering. It is more applied than Computer Science, placing greater emphasis on the entire software development process, from idea to final product. It is also more disciplined than Computer Science, applying more systematic practices to help ensure that products are reliable and safe.

Half of the course content is same for both fields, the major courses are different.

Computer systems engineers provide advice to clients regarding the appropriate hardware and/or software to ensure that their computer systems meet their needs. They may also be involved in a hands-on manner during the acquisition, installation, testing, and implementation phases of the project.

A degree in computer science may prepare students for careers as computer and information research scientists, computer network architects, computer programmers, systems analysts;, information security analysts, software developers, or web developers.

Software engineers may find careers in software development, computer network architecture, computer systems analysis, web development and information research.
