IEEE Islamabad Section CIS Industry Gala 2023 || Hamdard University Islamabad Campus
On 28th December 2023, IEEE Hamdard University Student Branch has organized IEEE Islamabad Section CIS Industry Gala 2023. The event had started at 9:30 am and finished at 3:45 pm, following the schedule. The Honorable Director General Hamdard University Islamabad Campus, Mr. Imtiaz Haider, has welcomed the participants with his opening remarks. Following were the workshops and talks of the event:
1. Talk on IEEE Membership Development by Mr. Hassan
The speaker shared the multifaceted advantages of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) membership. IEEE stands as a global professional organization, fostering collaboration and progress across diverse engineering, technology, and computer science domains. The membership offers a broad network, connecting professionals and providing access to a wealth of technical publications and resources, ensuring members are well-informed about the latest industry developments. IEEE CIS, a society tailored for computational Intelligence and technology, members gain exclusive access to cutting-edge research, conferences, and publications spanning artificial intelligence to software engineering. A distinctive feature of IEEE membership, particularly within IEEE CIS, is the emphasis on collaboration. Professionals collaborate on research projects, share insights, and actively contribute to the development of industry standards, fostering collective advancement.
2. Talk on Mental Health Awareness by Ms. Naila Islam
